Terms of use
Version 1 — effective October 23, 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern the jalon.milestone.uno app and the spaces run by Les Productions Milestone Ltée (NEQ 1175656793), head office at 2116, avenue De Lorimier, Montréal (Québec) H2K 3X1, at 451, rue de l'Église, Verdun (Québec) H4G 2M6: Studios A, B, C and D and Les Ateliers Dola / Le Lad. By creating an account, booking or buying a ticket, you accept these terms.
2. Account and age
• You must be 14 or older to create an account or hold a ticket. • People aged 14 to 17 may take part in a studio session only if an adult aged 18 or older stays with them for the whole session, makes the booking, signs the waiver and is responsible for them. • Self-serve use, memberships, equipment rental and payments are for people 18 and over. Some events are 18+; age is checked at the door. • Your information must be accurate. You are responsible for your account and password.
3. Before your first studio booking
You must sign the liability waiver in the app and upload a government-issued photo ID. The team checks it before your session. The photo is deleted 30 days after it is verified or rejected (see the privacy policy).
4. Bookings, payment and cancellation
• Prices are shown before tax; GST and QST are added to the total. You pay by card (Stripe) when booking, except hours included in a membership. • Cancellation: full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the session starts; no refund within 24 hours or for a no-show. You accept this rule by ticking the box when you book. • If Milestone cancels or can't provide your session, you get a full refund or another time slot. • The session ends at the booked time, even if you arrive late. Extra time can be added only if the room is free, at the current rate. • There is a reset gap between bookings; please leave the room on time.
5. Workshop and event tickets
Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start; after that the ticket can't be cancelled or refunded (no-shows included), but you can put it in someone else's name until the start. If Milestone cancels, you get a full refund. An Interac e-Transfer, when offered, must arrive before the hold ends, or the spot goes back on sale.
6. Memberships
Monthly membership hours don't roll over and can't be transferred. You can cancel anytime from your account; it takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current month.
7. House rules
• Respect the team, other members and the neighbours; no hateful, harassing or violent words or behaviour. • No smoking or vaping in the building. No illegal drugs. Alcohol only at events covered by a RACJ permit. • No food near the equipment; closed water bottles only. • Leave the room clean and the gear put away as you found it. A cleaning fee may be charged at cost if the room is left in poor shape. • Respect the room's capacity and the volume limits the team gives you. • For a serious breach (safety, violence, deliberate damage), the team may end the session without a refund and refuse future bookings.
8. Equipment and damage
Use the equipment as instructed. Report any breakage or problem as soon as possible. You are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing equipment or premises damaged through negligence or misuse during your session (including by people you brought).
9. Your work
What you record or create during your session belongs to you. Milestone gets no rights to your work and won't use it without your written consent. Security cameras may run in common areas, for safety only.
10. Liability
Using the studios involves the risks described in the waiver. To the extent the law allows, Milestone is not liable for losses or damage arising from your use of the premises, except in case of gross or intentional fault. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Québec's Consumer Protection Act.
11. Personal information
We handle your information under our privacy policy, in line with Law 25 (jalon.milestone.uno/en/confidentialite). Person in charge: James, privacy@milestone.uno.
12. Changes, language and governing law
Any change is posted with its date, and we will ask you to accept again if it is significant. These terms are written in French; the English version is for information and, if they differ, the French version prevails. They are governed by the laws of Québec.
